The best way that Think Ahead can connect with stroke survivors across the Borough is via its front-line health professionals. Nurses, GPs, practice nurses, occupational health practitioners, physiotherapists and therapists all come into daily contact with stroke survivors – and can help Think Ahead Stroke help their patients.

  • Stepping Stones For Stroke

    Think Ahead Stroke has created a step-by-step stroke information and recovery programme. Mentoring Programme. A free programme for stroke survivors and their carers that covers building confidence and independence, healthy living, communication, accessing local services, mobility and support for carers.     Think Ahead Stroke’s Well-being Courses help stroke survivors and their carers better understand their state of mind, giving them the tools they need to cope emotionally and aid recovery. Read more
