Ashland House

Our Stroke Information Centre is a place for stroke survivors and those who care for them to learn more about their condition, take part in activities or simply enjoy being around friendly faces. Located in the newly-established Wellbeing Hub in Ince, we are open from Monday to Friday and you are welcome to drop in at any time. Ample parking and easy access facilities are available.

Our partners at Ashland House include:

  • Elite Training, a non-profit organisation founded in September 2012 to bridge the gap in employability skills among young people across the North West
  • Individualised Direct Support Services CIC, an organisation offering personalised day activities for adults with learning disabilities in a welcoming, supportive environment
  • Rovers Returned, a community interest company that provides warranted used and new parts for the Rover and MG range
  • Sensoriel, a community interest company that gives adults and children with long-term conditions access to specialist multi-sensory equipment
  • Spark NW & Express IT Digital - Digital, design and print services for community organisations and businesses
  • Steps CIC, a community interest group that provides comprehensive support to adults and young people with disabilities throughout Wigan and Warrington
  • Healthwatch Wigan  and Leigh independant watchdog across health and social care 
  • Driven is a new volunteer led, affordable door to door transport service designed to help those who struggle with public transports be independent     contact [email protected]
