Welcome to the Think Ahead Community Stroke Group
 Think Ahead is a group brought together by a common thread, all the members and Trustees are stroke survivors or carers. The whole group understands the difficulties encountered by stroke and looks out for each other and shares information and experiences.
Regardless of how the stroke has affected you, you should never feel out of place or ill at ease within the group.
The group concentrates on social activities, making new friends, regular meetings, monthly trips and short break group holidays at suitable hotels. Through a combination of these you will find that you gain in confidence and self esteem, you may even decide to join in on the many activities outlined on this website.
We currently have a voice and influence decisions made by both the NHS and Social Services with regards to treatment and short and long term care by being active in bringing to them, the views of stroke survivors and their carers.
