Carol joined the team in 2006 and is the driving force behind Think Ahead and is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of all Group activities including the “Living with Stroke” programme. She works closely with the Trustees on all Charity matters including the future development of the Group.
She also liaises with Public Sector Agencies and other Voluntary and Community Sector Groups.
Her role also includes the recruitment and management of volunteers.

Linda joined the team in February 2008, initially as a volunteer worker, then took up a part time post in September 2008 and a full time post in April 2010.
Her main duties are to provide Administrative support for the Group including the "Living with Stroke" Programme, collating all Group information, producing monthly reports and providing monitoring stats for Management. Updating the General Group database and the database for the "Living with Stroke" Programme. Liaising with Peer Supporters and arranging visits etc, offering "Welfare" Support to all Group Members. Attending General promotional and Raising Awareness Events.

Val joined the Think Ahead team at the end of March 2010.
Her main duties are offering Administrative support to the Working Groups for trips, respite breaks, activities etc. Arranging all Activity Groups, ie Book Club, Art Group, Pottery classes, Computer courses etc, including the "Living with Stroke" Programme and General meetings. Arranging and providing transport for all members' Group activities (including the "Living with Stroke" Programme) and liaising with Community Transport and Volunteer drivers. Completing attendance sheets and collecting feedback with regards to all Group activities and submitting them to the Support Administrator. Gathering information and producing the monthly Newsletter. Attending General promotional and Raising Awareness Events.

Paul is the latest member of Think Ahead joining the team in September 2011.
The “Think Ahead Team” have pleasure in welcoming Paul into his new role as “Community Stroke Supporter” and would like to take the opportunity to thank him for his support and dedication over the last few years in his volunteer role as a Peer Supporter with Think Ahead.
